Re Liv Mairt Dalen's comments - Thank you for expessing so well what I wanted to say. I was not quite sure how to respond to this paper without being ostracized by the Christian community. I am a spiritual person, but for numerous reason have given up my Christian upbringing. Spirituality can be realized many ways and, I believe, it is not through Christianity. I would be very reluctant to bring the ideas from this paper into my therapy setting as an SLP. Needless to say, I respect the beliefs of my patients/clients.
