It was very interesting to read about how stuttering is viewed in an African culture. Is the lingua frenum "membrane beneath the tongue" still cut in children who begin to stutter? Does this actually help the stop the child from stuttering, do they develop any other speech problems? I think it would be interesting to study those who stutter and who were "cured" of stuttering to see what folk methods were used to treat them and if they actually worked. It was very interesting to read your article and learn about how and African nation views stuttering.
