What an informative paper! As a graduate student in communication disorders I find it so interesting to hear the different myths/folk tales that other countries have regarding the cure/treatment/cause for stuttering. I think it is wonderful that you have taken such an interest in helping those people in your country that stutter. You mention that “We have much to learn from others, and perhaps others will learn from us as well”. I agree! There is so much to be learned from those in other countries, and it is fascinating that even though we are all located in different parts of the world, and each PWS is unique, there are so many similarities among us. The personal stories you include in your article have so many similar feelings and situations that a PWS living in America would describe. Keep up the good work!
