Sorry for the very late contribution. Ken St Louis has pointed to our IFA paper in reply to Sharon Lee-Sheridan on the same topic. I have since reanalyzed updated data from our bilingual survey and have reported the following data in June for an audiance of SLP in London:
Among bilingual people who stutter (about 200 surveyed)
27% stuttered only on their L1 69% stuttered on both L1 and L2 4% stuttered on L2
Stuttering are self-reported and caution is needed as suggested by the John Van Borsel article.
A paper on the new data set is in preparation.
