I think there needs to be more awareness on the nature and behavior of stuttering. Many SLPs feel uncomfortable with stuttering, probably due to insufficient training and awareness on stuttering. SLPs have to set a model in language, as well as understand the behaviors and limits of stuttering. How can SLPs become more aware on how to regulate stuttering behaviors?
