Thanks for the kind words.
I still think the basic message - that the behavior varies - is the most important one for anyone to know and understand. The teacher needs to treat the child who stutters as she would any other child in the classroom who had a "difference." It's important that the children in the class understand the nature of stuttering and don't tease the child who stutters.
The National Stuttering Association and Stuttering Foundation of America both have a lot of good information that can be shared with classroom teachers.
