First of all, I would like to say thank you for a very nice article that explains what an important role a teacher plays in the life of a child who stutters. I definitely agree that helping a child who stutters requires a team effort between the clinician and the teacher. My question is, have you ever come into contact with a teacher that did not feel that he/she should play a role in the improvement a child's speech and who thought that it was the clinician’s job? If so, how did you handle this?
