Thank you for your wonderful article. The in-service meetings you described sound amazing. Regular education teachers can feel overwhelmed at times when learning about the many disorders concerning a child's development. I love how you separate the meetings into the informative and participative stages. It is so important to provide the information to teachers, but more important to help them discover their feelings and fears in connection to those disorders. Are their fears from lack of knowledge or prejudice? Or is it from a personal experience. The workshop will provide a wonderful vehicle for teachers to learn about how stuttering affects children in school and how to help their students succeed in their classroom. -Jenna Saathoff
