The most difficult situation a teacher has to face with a stuttering child in class certainly are the oral evaluations. We sugest teachers to speak with the child and to offer him or her to take this evaluation when he/she feels more confortable to talk but not to avoid the oral tests if it is possible. This would support the child fear to speak. Also it would be very important that the teacher talks to all the class about the difficulties that everyone have, as to avoid teasing. It is very important for this child to feel close to the teacher, to speak with him whenever he wants and that he can undrerstand and help him.
