First let may say that my Disorders of Rhythm professor Dr. Person would say AMEN to your article. I am a second year graduate student (a total of 6 years of speech patholgy and aud. course work) and this is my first time working with a child who stutters in my clinical practicum. I must admit it was a bit overwhelming at first, but my professor told me to relax and start reading. I never knew about all the resource material on assessment and intervention for stuttering. I take this semester as a blessing because I don't know when I might get another oppurtunity to work with an individual who stutters. Thank you for being an advocate for individuals who stutter so that they can receive the best possible services for SLPs.
