Thank you, Andrea. I agree that every graduate student should take a full course and have at least a modicum of experience with someone who stutters. Stuttering is a complex speech disorder that requires more than a cursory exposure. At the very least students need to understand that consultation and referral are both a part of being an effective professional. Good luck!
