Steve, thanks so much for the kind words...and it WAS tougher doing this solo versus having the wisdom of a sage expert and author by my side.

I thought you raised some great comments about balance -- the need to avoid the extremes at either end of the spectrum: Total and 100% fluency chasing at one end versus giving up totally at the other end with no effort to speak as well as we can. As all things in life, we should reach a healthy balance somewhere in the middle. You've done such a fantastic job, Steve, in encouraging people yourself to live fully and honestly despite the stuttering. I think every stutterer would fine inner-happiness more easily and quickly to set a high standard for themselves to do as well as they can and STILL accept the fact that along the way (and forever)of pursuing their best communication potential, funny words are going to pop up and pop out on a regular basis. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't keep right on trying to be the best communicator we can.

Thanks again for your support and as always, for your wonderful work in helping so, so many people whose lives you've touched. I count YOU as one of my "angels of optimism."

Chris
