Chris, what a wonderful treat to hear from you. Thanks for your kindness and powerful insight to follow one's heart regardless of the challenges tossed in our paths.

For the audience's benefit, Chris hit some tough spots along his life's journey and decided to take some courageous steps to plow past those bumps: he started from scratch and within months and many, many dedicated miles completed two back-to-back marathons! <And for the rest of the story, after crossing the finish line of his first marathon, he proposed to his racing partner, my daughter; soon after finishing the second one in Hawaii, they married!>

His courage to keep moving forward when it would have been so easy to simply stop is an inspiration to all, fluent and disfluent alike. Chris, blessed with excellent speech, illustrates that every individual is driven by the same desire to grow and experience a full life -- just like we who stutter. In the eyes of Life, we're all equal. As I wrote, THAT's what everybody else sees. And THAT's what I hope we can learn to see -- stuttering is only a part of so many parts that make up our life -- it is NOT our life.

Chris, thanks for contributing!! And if you'd like to learn to stutter, let us know :)

Chris
