Todd, thanks for your kind words. My dad had a successful near-40 year career as a small town, community banker in the Texas Panhandle. Retired for many years now, he was very respected and admired by many. <I think at last count he had been asked and gratefully agreed to be a pall bearer in over 300 funerals!> His secret? He showed an interest in everyone he met. I'll never forget watching him encourage so many people around him. And all with simple words and simple listening. He put others first. And his encouragement was awarded ten-fold with their respect.
Thanks again for participating and I'm SO glad you targeted my most important aspect of the paper...and my favorite...being an "encourager."
