Andreas: Wow - thanks for your paper. I'm going to copy it and consider some of the ideas in it. It opened my mind, and also my heart - a good combination for me. John Harrison suggested I read Zen in the Art of Archery a few years back - actually I just took it off my shelf last night after many months - and then read your article this morning.
