I am currently a graduate student in the field of Speech Language Pathology. We have been learning in class that it is important to match treatment with the stage of change that the client is in. It sounds as though Dr. Tetnowski and Jennifer Bathel did an excellent job of recognizing Mike's readiness. It seemslike he is getting ready to maintain his new skills in real-life situations.
