My worries were not only because of my stutter, but also my clumsiness so I was sure to stumble, stutter and spill the church wine on my clothes. So you can imagine my stresslevel that day, when my husband didn't find his belt and came late to pick me up from the hair dresser. But things got worse. We were still early so we sat in the car, rehearsing our wedding vows and my other names, which my husband used to forget. We were about 5 miles from church, knowing we needed to leave 3.50 PM. Then we heared the news on the radio: our clock was 15 minutes late! So we "flew" to church, rushed in and because of all this, my husband remembered my other two names, but not my first name! With a whole church laughing, my fears of saying my vows had totally disapeared... :-)
