I would advise all people who stutter and are planning to marry to move to Norway, where you only have to answer "ja" (pronounced "ya") twice, and you are married! This worked very well for my Paul, but having arrived from the US only ten days before the wedding, he naturally didn't have a clue when he was supposed to give his "ja"s, and to be on the safe side he started nodding his head as soon as he heard his name (as I was being asked if I took this man etc.) This is really a highlight on the wedding video, the first time Paul saw it he was just laughing his head off. (The reason why I wrote "Woes" in the headline is that the first time I wrote to Paul about wedding vows I accidentally spelt it "woes", something he found very appropriate!)
