I gotta admit, you really are a good writer Alan... a rare compliment for you, coming from me!
You can make up your own vows at weddings these days. If and when I marry my boyfriend, I don't care if I stutter on my vows, so long as they include him doing the cooking, cleaning, mowing the lawn, etc.... aaaaah, wedded bliss.
What I want to know is - did the vicar join you on your honeymoon?
