Nice to hear from you.
Taking one's marriage vows attracts a great deal of emotion - not merely because one stutters, but due to the seriousness and solemnity of the occasion. Getting married is, indeed, a huge decision and I can understand why persons who stutter also approach it with a degree of apprehension.
If you have time to read some of my other replies, you will see that talking in front of a group no longer holds any fears for me.
