It was kind of you to contribute.
You are correct - stuttering certainly can have an enormous impact upon one's life, particularly if we allow it to have such an influence. As a PWS, I know how tempting it is to restrict the manner in which we live by remaining within our comfort zones.
I have always tried to lead as full a life as possible, despite my disfluency.
