I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Speech Pathology, and I am enrolled in a fluency disorders class this semester. My class has discussed in full the impact that stuttering makes on someone's desire to communicate, especially in public. Throughout these discussions, I have wondered how a wedding day would be for someone who stuttered. I was very excited to see your article in this online conference, and I was encouraged by what you had to say. I am thankful that you have a loving, supporting wife who is there "for better or for worse". I smiled when I read your plan for saying your vows. I think that is very special, and I don't think you OR your wife is married to the vicar! :) Thank you for sharing your story. May God continue to bless you.
