A very funny observation, Liv. As I read it, the image that came to mind was a support group meeting in which a regular participant was doing an impersonation of this type of listener, complete with the wide eyes, slow head nods, and drawn out uh-huhhh's. Yes, it was the kind of mocking behavior we hate being on the other side of. But I’ll admit I was laughing.
