I am so proud of both of you. As you both have gone through the SSMP, I hope I have made some small contribution to the successes you have had in your lives. I am sure there are special challenges you ladies have that we men probably don't understand. I really appreciate your sharing your concerns with all of us. Only by sharing as you have done can we all become better clinicians and supporters of one another. Like both of you, stuttering has made me who I am and who I am not. Now in my sunset years, as I look back I realize that I never would have met wonderful people like you and many others if I had not stuttered. So when I list the assets and the liabilities of stuttering in my life there is no doubt that the assets come way out ahead.
