Some comments to Russ: To be your own role model you must start to like yourself. That is a VERY HARD task for many of us, not only WWS or PWS. About letting someone else speak for me: when I moved to Sweden I used my bad language skills to not have to answer the phone, order or for other reasons hide my speech. Today I can't get away with that anymore. And being married to the silent type it really helped me to fight the feeling and get out there and do it. But that too took me years of fighting MYSELF! You also write that women are expected to be all things to all people. Not just that. As a PWS I felt I had to be THE BEST in everything to compete with the fluent perfect women (as I saw them). What a load to carry with you every day! Today I know nobody is perfect. (No, not even you, Russ...) And those who claim being the best, well, aren't the a pain in the b***?! We're doing ok and that better be enough, as that's what you get.
