Dear Ms. Kleutz, I wanted to thank you for sharing such a personal story. Your article was very informative and helpful as I embark on a career in speech language pathology. I wondered how you spoke with friends, family and strangers about your stuttering? How do you incorporate humor if you use that to explain stuttering? Do you feel that most people have been understanding and supportive? I know you mentioned how some chose not to speak about it, but that you are very upfront. I do not work with any young ladies who stutter, but I feel any information could be helpful for any young person who stutters. I think someone like you in the field of SLP makes you a stong role model for all who stutter. Thank you again for your article and your time. Marisa Karas
