I'll share my perception of the Journey: AWARENESS leads to INSIGHT which leads to UNDERSTANDING which leads to ACCEPTANCE. For me, it's not linear, more like circular. I tend to keep revolving around that circle. I find acceptance is elusive, many times it slips right thru my fingers. Kinda like a mirage in the desert.
Mostly, I guess, it's the willingness to just let whatever is happening, happen. If what is happening in the present moment is fear, okay, I'll feel it, I'll experience it, and I'll live thru it. This is new stuff for me. I spent a lot of years running away from it.
