Dear Ms. Wood...What a truly enlightening, encouraging article. As I read it, I'll be honest, I looked beyond stuttering issues, to life in general. As a mother of two teenagers and a 10 year old, I look at your words as being vital "life lessons" for anyone in this hectic, sometimes frightening world we live in. Standing up for what one believes, moving forward while "squishing" down the fear of falling on your face, being kind and respectful to others and loving yourself are words true for all. Your paper was a wonderful message to receive. I plan to share it, not only with my speech students, but also with my family. Thanks again...Mary Ahlers
