First of all I wanted to say thank you for sharing all of your stories. It really made me think of how tough it would be to advertise your stuttering, the analogy with the big scar made it very real. I also really enjoyed reading Patti's letter to the school. I think that is a great idea and can really alleviate some of the stress and anxiety you would feel entering a brand new situation. I'm glad to see you got a positive response from the letter. I was curious if many people asked you about stuttering or brought up the letter when you began working at the school? If so, I think it would have provided a great opportunity to teach others about stuttering. Thanks again!
