I think that it's great that you are so open about your stuttering; I myself am like that and my dearset jokes are on the account of my speech. They relax people and they feel more comfortable to see me not taking stuttering too seriously. But another thing now: when I was little and stuttered, I was convinced by adults that it will pass once I got into puberty. I got there, nothing happened. It will pass with your first period - it didn't. It will pass when you turn 18 - it didn't. I was very scared to see an adult stutter when I was small, because I thought: "No, it can't be, grown-ups don't stutter, only children do!" I wished I had never seen an adult stutterer, because that was what made me feel like I had a big problem. So I don't think it would be good to PUSH IT with children who stutter - this being my own humble opinion. Let them live in a world with the least worrying possible.
