I first off want to tell you how your poem brought a smile to my face. I am currently stuttering fluency at the graduate level. I am completing my Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. My question for you, is: Was there a major turning point in your life when you changed your attitude about your stuttering? Your attitude seems very positive at this point, and I was wondering what, if anything, changed your personal outlook on your fluency. Also, as a I enter the field of speech-language pathology, is there any advice you can give me as to how I can best approach my clients who have disfluencies?
