Thank you for your comments. We have many types of treatments, in different approaches as you can observe in the answers given by each guest. In my lab we are or we try to be the more objective as possible in terms of diagnosis and treatment. Usually we use quantitative evaluations (fluency profile: type of disruptions; speech rate and frequency of speech disruptions. Our treatment is based on fluency promotion programs (three steps: learning to be fluent; maintaining fluency and speech rate promotion). Our general rate of success is around 60% in adults.
