I am a graduate student at Minnesota State University, Mankato who is studying Speech-Language Pathology. I really enjoyed reading about how stepping outside of the comfort zone can be so beneficial. This article has impacted my life as a person who does not stutter. There are many good points in your article that can be applied to any person's life. I especially liked your honesty and warning that it may not be easy at first, but to keep working at new things and it will eventually make a difference.

I believe that motivation is fed by small steps. If a task seems to tough, or overwhelming it just needs to be broken down into smaller steps, life is a lot easier to handle then! You made a great point that each person may have different levels that they can hurdle. Each person needs to find what size of steps they can take, and keep moving! You are proof of the benefits!

Thank you for sharing! Sarah Bos
