Hi Lieven,
It was a pleasure to make your acquaintance at the NSA Annual Convention in Anaheim in 2002 - albeit briefly.
I whole-heartedly believe that we should work on other areas of our lives such as self-esteem, assertiveness, confidence, expanding comfort zones etc. I feel that our speech will improve as a by-product of this holistic approach.
My stutter had such a detrimental effect upon my life for so many years, but now I make a point of doing whatever I choose. I will never again accept second best.
