Just a few years ago I had similar feelings to yourself. Following a car accident, I withdrew from social contact and even crossed the street to avoid talking to people. My speech deteriorated drastically.

Try to focus on the positive things and instantly despatch negative thoughts to the trash can. We feed far too many harmful thoughts into our subconscious and they have such an adverse influence upon our lives. Try practising that orange/apple exercise that I told you about. I really does work. You cannot think about both (negative and positive) at the same time.

No, I cannot claim to be the author of the poem, although I did amend it to 'fit the bill'. I have written many verses about stuttering and other subjects and hope to publish them one day.

Hang on in there, I'm sure that things will improve.
