I really enjoyed hearing about your experiences as a pastor who stutters. I am a graduate student in speech pathology and I am fascinated with people who stutter. I was scanning the many different articles submitted on this website and yours caught my eye! I am very intrigued to hear that you are still working so hard every Sunday to do what you feel is your passion in life. At the end of your article you mentioned that the congregation has been supportive of you. I was wondering if anyone ever "suggested" that you find another job because of your stutter. Also, how did the people at your church first accept you moving into that powerful position? Did you ever have to directly address the people and explain you have trouble sometimes with talking, or did they just pretend not to notice?
I realize this is a lot of questions, but I am curious. Thanks for your time.
