Dear Donald, I am a Speech Correctionist in the process of getting new certification as a Speech and Language Specialist. Thank you for sharing your story! My brother is a Roman Catholic priest and I always remember being so critical about his homilies, but only in my own mind. He is so soft spoken and seems to use a different voice when he is at the podium. He repeats himself and drives me crazy. I just love him so much and I am so proud of his vocation that I tell him what a great job he did. I am so happy that the "calling" is so strong that you don't think of your stuttering as a hinderence when you are sharing your knowledge as a pastor. We all experience different feelings throughout the day but is it especially difficult to experience so many emotions all at once if it is a "bad" stuttering day? Does your faith play a big role in your survival? Thanks again, M. Casey
