Thank you for your response to my article. You do not mention the ages of your children. As parents, my wife and I have always tried to give our children our attention and proper responsibility. We believe that this gives them a sense of self worth in participating in the “family good.” My wife is a nationally certified sign language interpreter. She feels that as his language expands, his ability to express himself will continue to expand also.
