Bless your heart for those kind and thoughtful reponses to Todd's Story. You certainly are not alone in respect to your reactions to its telling. At the time of its first publication I received nearly 100 letters from individuals expressing the very sentiments you describe. Since that time, every time I attend the National Stuttering Association's annual convention, members approach me and thank me for reporting a story that has been so uplifting for them. The first time I spoke publically about the CPS Synrome I stessed the point that some types of stuttering may not be overcome but they certainly can be conquered.
