Todd's story reinforces the idea that incurable stuttering so totally consumes the daily routines of life for many. Treating the whole person and not just his stuttering is vital to her emotional wll being. Depression would seem to be a likely outcome and also needs to be treated. Todd has been through a great deal and I am glad to see he is in more control of his speech today and gainfully employed.
