Dear Dr. Cooper, Thanks for your response and words of encouragement. There is so much information out there about stuttering, and you have got my attention. I appreciate your perspective on the chronis stuttering syndrome, and I certainly have seen evidence that it exists. I wanted to let you know that I will certainly look into the references you provided. You already have offered me reassurance about a problem I have seen persist. Now I need to figure out how to speak to parents about conquering versus cure, so they understand that angle. Thanks again for your comments. Debbie
