Hi Denise, well maybe it would be the time in which I'd lived it. Maybe today our kindergarden and lower-grade teachers are more educated about how to react to a stuttering child or other children with special needs. Maybe I wouldn't have such a negative image about it or be so ashamed. My grammar school class was great, so the only problem were the teachers, the majority of them. Because I wasn't important enough for them to think about other ways. They would swey their hand at my stuttering and say "come on, you can do it" and that was it. In my high school it was even worse. So if I could change one thing, it would be the education and compassion of those teachers.
