Thank you for this article. I especially like the word cocoon. The word has a feeling of warm protection and personal growth. I've heard of people building walls around them, and the connotation is much different. I imagine breaking out of a cocoon to be a more poetic struggle than breaking down a wall. There is the gift of a lovely butterfuly at the end of the process. I will use this analogy from now on with my students. You have lifted your head and allowed things to happen. So I know your future will be bright because you are open to it now. Best of everything to you.
