Dear Marija,
I am currently a graduate student studying speech-language pathology. As many have already commented, you are truly amazing, and an inspiration to all. My question to you is, as I enter into my career as an SLP in the school systems, how can I better help individuals such as yourself to adjust to different situations? Also, was speech therapy an option for you while you were in school either in Croatia or in the U.S.? If so, did you choose not to receive therapy? Why?
