I had to say that RIGHT NOW! I'll reply in more detail later. We've just been whale-watching in Morton Bay (the bay on which Brisbane stands). These huge animals circled our boat for hours, as interested in us as we were in them. They have eyes the size of grapefruits and can see well out of water. We were told to wave to them. And lo and behold, they seemed to wave back! They rolled on their sides and waves their long fins in the air. Anyway, we're pretty tuckered... so more later!
