Hi Terry, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. The email address was only in case you are so overwhelmed with all the responses that you could not get back to everybody before the conference ends. You were wondereing about my lastname, it is from Hungary, but I grew up in Germany. I became a SLP in Germany, but after moving to New York a few years ago I needed to go back to school to get my american master's degree. So am a student again and really enjoying it. Like you I am also taking advantage of the advanced knowledge level and resaerch in the field of speech therapy in the US. I am sorry to hear though, that your experience with speech therapy in Australia was so disappointing. But it seems like within the last years and through this conference you met other people with experience and interest in the field of covert stammering. This might be a good start to built and share knowledge about covert stammering. You said writing about your stammer was easy and not nearly as hard as owning up to your family and friends. Well, I think that writing about your story was a courageous step on your way. And who knows what you are up to next... All the best, Anne
