I am a graduate student in Communication Disorders at Southern University. I truly enjoyed reading your story. Your experiences as an overt stutterer educated me on what overt stuttering is. In your paper, you mentioned you are confident when you lecture and as a result, you don't stutter. Aside from lecturing, do you believe that your confidence plays a significant role in helping you pass as fluent in other speaking situations as well?
