Hi Terry -
I am a graduate student in speech language pathology. Thanks for submitting your paper to the ISAD conference. You provided the public with some very interesting and informative information about covert stuttering and what it is like to live with it.
I have a question about which you might be able to shed some light. During the course of your life as a stutterer, do you remember when you FIRST realized that you had the ability to be covert? I'm trying to determine if I would be able to detect a school-age child who is covertly stuttering. Any clues... or will it remain a mystery to SLP's?
