Your article was wonderful and I think it will relate to many people who still avoid or hide their stuttering.
I know two brothers who stutter. The older one is overt while the younger one is covert. I feel that the younger brother became covert because of the negative reactions he saw his older brother receive in repsonse to his overt behavior. Therefore, the younger brother saw the response and "went into hiding". Do you feel there is any reason behind why you are a person who stutters covertly versus overtly? In general, do you feel there are certain factors that influence whether a person stutters covertly or overtly?
