I do think the symptoms of ADHD can drastically effect one's communication skills and progress in therapy. Unfortunately, many children with TS have concomitant diagnoses. For example, we know that the majority of children with TS have ADHD, learning disabilities and OCD. From my experience, many children with ADHD havefluency issues as well. In fact, when one compares/contrasts the DSM-IV criteria for ADHD, it resembles the hallmark features of a cluttering diagnosis.
